We’re on a mission to promote science, technology, engineering, and mathematics in the Great Lakes Bay Region.
The STEM Pipeline is a comprehensive STEM Website for the Great Lakes Bay Region/Prosperity Region 5 (Arenac, Bay, Clare, Gladwin, Gratiot, Isabella, Midland and Saginaw Counties). The STEM Impact Initiative Study recommended that we need to build a STEM Talent Pipeline for the Great Lakes Bay Region.
This website is designed to coordinate and organize various STEM efforts from throughout the Great Lakes Bay Region. Please be sure to check back often as we will constantly be updating STEM Programs & Events, STEM Job Posting, STEM News, and innovative initiatives led by our regional STEM Networks.

STEM Networks
The STEM Impact Initiative Study from 2014 gave four specific recommendations for the Great Lakes Bay Region to build a STEM Talent Pipeline.
- Driven by Employer Demand
- Powered by Career-Ready and College-Ready Students
- Focused on Strengthening Technical Skills Needed for the Economy
- Sustained by a Culture of STEM
As such, in 2015 STEM Networks were established across the Great Lakes Bay Region to focus on these 4 recommendations.
